Rhode Island Independent Performers Network
is a grassroots organization of local and regional performing artists dedicated to engaging audiences through current and innovative live performance, emanating from a multitude of voices and visions. We seek to employ progressive strategies for increasing meaningful dialogue between Rhode Island audiences and their independent dance, theatre, music, performance art and film/video artists.

Towards this end we produce multiple local concerts annually involving artists contemporary and experimental, in addition to traditional and community-based forms of live performance. RI2PN efforts to collectively identify, edify and expand our local audiences.

We are over 60 artists since 2004 (and growing). We are multi-generational, multi-disciplined, and multi-hued. We are both selective and inclusive, fashioning a selection process which emphasizes dialogue and forethought. Within this community of artists we are building mechanisms for critical feedback and artistic consensus building.
